What is Christmas Spectacular?
Now in its 7th year, Christmas Spectacular is an annual shopping celebration held each November to benefit the First Baptist Church Children's Weekday Education Center. This is the school's sole fundraiser and all proceeds benefit the school. After six years of fundraising we are contributing half the amount with the church contributing the other to get a new out door playscape this coming fall. How exciting is that!!!

The three-day event takes place in the FBC gymnasium and features 65 vendors from around Central Texas. Also at the event are door prizes, basket raffle and great cafe cuisine. The show draws over nearly 1000 shoppers from all over the Central Texas.

How can Parents Help?

This event is a parent-led volunteer event. Its success depends on the participation of all preschool members, so each family is asked to contribute in these ways:

  • Work a 2 hour shift during the show. (Sign up for your volunteer shift.)
  • Sell $50 in basket raffle tickets.
  • Each classroom will sponsor a basket, you may contribute by donating an item for the basket raffle of $15 value or donate a cash equivalent.
  • Solicit at least one donation for the raffle or door prize.
